poll in virginia shows obama up by four points. you evaluate the poll and probably off by 12-15 points, yet it's page 1. you go to item after item like this. mitt romney says correctly that the united states should not be apologizing to those who storm our embassy. an american ambassador gets killed where he had no security. intelligence system did not work administration has lied and three or four days media attacking mitt romney. the bias has been as vivid as i have seen. lesson is simple. this is what it is like to be a conservative in a general election, slow the campaign down emphasize things that american energy independence plan, stick to your guns, offer people a clear choice. i think this is very winnable race. i'll say something from personal experience. romney has to go into that first debate and be as tough obama as he was with me in florida. he can't waltz in there and trying to be attractive. he has to be tough, directed and decisive and win the first debate. in which case this is a wide open race and obama will lose by a big margin. >> sean: he has to come out in

that really matter. not in ohio, not in florida, not in virginia which is the three states i'm following because they are hearing about this other video. so they don't get a chance to judge. and one more point, sean, as important as this general philosophy is, these people who are making the decision are really hurting. i was in charlotte just a few days ago, milwaukee, wisconsin. the amount of pain and suffering from the american people, unprecedented. >> does it matter that we now found out we have missing minutes from this tape? it seems, and yet a radical left wing magazine, radicalistist david korn behind this, shouldn't that at all? >> the public has started to discount a lot of this. it took a day or two, and they lost. the fact is it is up to mitt romney. let's be blunt. it is up to his performance in that first presidential debate. he is on fire? is he passionate? does he provide this. >> he needs to come out of the box on fire. >> in the opening statement and then from there to how hard is it he need to bunch obama in terms of retorecally. >> the issue is not about pu
